The legal case involving Angelo Agrizzi, the former Chief Operations Officer of Bosasa, has taken a significant turn as it has been transferred to the High Court of the Gauteng Division in Pretoria. Agrizzi’s first appearance in this matter is scheduled for 29 February 2024.
Agrizzi was initially arrested in October 2020 on allegations of offering former Parliamentarian Vincent Smith gratification amounting to over R800 000. Furthermore, as part of the legal proceedings, Agrizzi’s mental assessment report from Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital is expected to be submitted to the court on the same date, 29 February 2024, in relation to the R1.8 billion Bosasa and Department of Correctional Services matter.
