In a joint venture with Marvel Games, Electronic Arts (EA) revealed on Monday that its newly established studio, Cliffhanger Games, is currently working on a third-person, single-player Black Panther game.
According to Cliffhanger Games, this upcoming action-adventure game aims to offer fans of the superhero franchise an immersive experience, allowing them to explore the vast world of Wakanda.

Kevin Stephens, the former studio head of Monolith Productions and the leader of Cliffhanger Games, emphasized that the game would provide players with unprecedented agency and control over their narrative.
“We want our game to enable players to truly embody the Black Panther and experience unique, story-driven gameplay,” Stephens stated in the announcement.
However, specific details regarding the game, including its title, plot points, and launch date, were not disclosed by Cliffhanger Games.
This game announcement coincides with the 57th anniversary of Black Panther’s debut in Marvel comics. The first “Black Panther” movie, released by Marvel Studios in 2018, achieved tremendous success at the global box office, generating billions of dollars.

The sequel, “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” premiered in November 2022 and became the most-watched Marvel premiere on Disney+ in terms of streaming hours.
