A man lost his life in a shooting incident on Thursday night at a fast food outlet in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal, prompting a murder investigation by the police.
According to Colonel Robert Netshiunda, the provincial police spokesperson, the police received reports of a 32-year-old man found on the floor with a gunshot wound.

It is believed that an unknown armed man fatally shot the victim before fleeing the scene.
Eyewitnesses recounted the unforgettable event, stating that the victim was purchasing food at the drive-through when another car parked beside him.

A heated argument began between the drivers, escalating quickly, and tragically, the other driver opened fire.
The victim, a resident of Claremont, was struck in the chest and he died at the scene.
