Julius Malema, leader of the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), said South African-born billionaire Elon Musk should consult the archives or go to YouTube to view the ruling in which the Equality Court ruled that the ‘Kill the Boer’ song is not hate speech.
On Wednesday, Malema spoke at the EFF’s 10th-anniversary closing press conference.

Recall that the Equality Court, sitting at the High Court in Johannesburg, ruled last year that the ‘Kill the Boer’ song does not constitute hate speech after AfriForum took the case before the court.
This comes after Musk took to Twitter (or X, as it is now known), and accused the EFF of “openly pushing for genocide of white people in South Africa.”
Malema responded to Musk’s post, implying that Musk was not being entirely truthful. “O bolela mas*pa (you are talking sh**),” he said.
South Africans also slammed the tweet as misinformation as people said there was no genocide in the country.
Speaking today, Malema said: “Why must I educate Elon Musk? He looks like an illiterate, the only thing that protects him is his white skin. If Elon Musk wants to learn about this song, the records are there. Refer Elon Musk to YouTube. There is a full clip of the court appearance in that matter where it was canvassed in a neutral court of law and a judgment was made. This matter is closed. We have no time for nonsense.”
The EFF leader went on to say that he would not explain himself since the Equality Court cleared him of hate speech charges last year. As he explained in court, the song was a chant.
