Humility is what South Africa needs right now! Makhadzi recently won the hearts of many after she humbled herself and bowed down as she met the country’s number one man, Cyril Ramaphosa.
The singer graced the stage and had the time of her life at the Netball World Cup 2023 in front of several spectators which was in Cape Town from 28 July to 6 July.
In disbelief, Makhadzi had the opportunity to speak to Ramaphosa and she couldn’t wait to share the moment with her followers.
Taking to Instagram the singer shared a video of herself with the president and wrote: “Last night I cried so much guys, I just want to take this opportunity to say thank you to everyone who have shown me support all these years.
“Firstly God is the greatest, for all his grace. Then my day 1 fans who have been with me through the hard and the nice times ..thank you so much guys, I am here because of what you do for me. I also just want to thank myself for being me.
“For being strong and never give up. Today I can shake hands with the President and he tells me straight in the face that I am a great performer😭😭. Thank you thank you thank you … I am happy, now I can work on my album with energy.”
