Viewers’ favourite Uyajola 9/9 presenter, Molemo ‘Jub Jub’ Maarohanye is in hot water after new charges were read out against him in the Johannesburg Magistrate’s Court on Thursday, August 24.
The music producer is charged on multiple counts, according to National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane: “He is facing 13 counts ranging from multiple counts of rape, indecent assault, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and several counts of kidnapping.”

Mjonodwane stated that the state was prepared for trial, but his lawyer, Ntsako Baloyi, requested that the date be pushed forward to November 8: “We don’t want to postpone and then one postponement will lead to the other.

“Therefore we will request for a lengthy postponement to the 8th of November, which we believe that by the time we come back, all avenues would have been exhausted.”
His fans were outraged after he turned himself into Brixton police and was released on R10,000 bail, accusing the supposed victims of character assassination.
