Kiernan AKA Forbes’ property has been thrown out of his rented apartment in Bryanston by his landlord.
Upon the late rapper’s death, the landlord cancelled the lease arrangement he had with him to rent out the property to a new tenant.

Many people were taken aback by the news because they assumed the apartment belonged to AKA. Before his demise, the rapper flaunted a fleet of expensive cars worth millions of Rands on social media and television while filming his famous show “The Braai Show.”
Furthermore, the development will settle all claims that the housing bond, which is valued at over R4-million, will be settled with money earned by AKA’s life insurance and leased to his nominated beneficiaries.
”It was not his house. He was renting the property and was paying about R40000 a month. I know people thought it was his house because he was driving expensive cars,” said AKA’s close friend.

One of his lavish fleet of cars included a BMW i8 for at least R2 million and a BMW X7 worth more than R2.6 million, both of which he bought shortly before his death.
Despite his stuff still being in the flat, the Landlord has already given out the unit AKA resided in, though his close friend revealed that his belongings have been taken out and locked up in storage depending on when AKA’s family will get his things out.
“The apartment has been occupied by a new tenant since the end of April. The apartment is already taken. The Landlord got a new tenant over a month ago. It was just a normal person, no one famous” AKA’s friend added.
The rapper died in February 2023, after he was shot outside Wish restaurant in Durban.
