Nadia Nakai Discusses Meeting Her Father For The First Time In 33 Years

Nadia Nakai recently revealed to her fans a deeply personal story in which she met her father for the first time in over three decades.

The famous rapper has always made her fans aware of her ties with her mother’s family.

At the same time, she hasn’t revealed much about her father’s side of the family until recently, when she spoke with Zingah on the Choppin It With Bhuda T Podcast.

Nadia Nakai stated that her father is still alive and resides in Canada, but he visits South Africa frequently because his wife lives in Boksburg.

Nadia said, “I actually met him recently, after 33 years.

“It was actually a good meeting, it was wholesome, it was nice I didnt have like anger or anything because I feel like I lived a good life with my mom. She raised me well, so I dont feel like I was loosing anything.

“I think I just wanted to meet him because a lot was going on in my life. Things were just hectic, I just felt like I needed to find myself to myself.

“I event went to Zimbabwe, and i went to my granny, thats how much it starts. I had to see my granny, it was just a lot so that was part of like my healing process” she added.
