Three more police officers have been shot in Cape Town. This is the second police shooting in less than 24 hours.
On Sunday, two off-duty police officers were shot and killed in separate instances in Khayelitsha.
Three officers were shot and wounded at a mall in Nyanga on Monday morning.
In the most recent instance, police believe the armed suspects were fleeing an armed robbery on foot when they collided with police officers outside the mall.
According to Wesley Twigg, a police spokeswoman, the suspects fired several shots, injuring three female officers.
