Watch| CIT Crew Member Shot Dead After Confronting Robber

In a shocking turn of events, a CIT (Cash-in-Transit) crew member lost his life while trying to protect the community at Eyethu Mall in Orange Farm, Johannesburg. The incident occurred when the crew member was confronted by an armed man who attempted to rob him at a supermarket.

Showing immense bravery, the crew member decided to take on the robber, engaging in a physical struggle. Unfortunately, during the scuffle, both individuals fell to the ground. It was at this moment that the robber, desperate to escape, resorted to using his firearm.

Tragically, the crew member sustained a fatal gunshot wound and succumbed to his injuries. The robber, seizing the opportunity, snatched the bag of cash and swiftly made his way out of the supermarket, leaving behind a scene of shock and disbelief.
