Minnie Dlamini, a South African actress, model, and media personality, has been in the game for a long and her star continues to shine.
The television personality announced on social media that yesterday marked her 13th year in the industry.
While still a student at the University of Cape Town, Dlamini was a presenter on LIVE and then became a host on SABC1’s Mzansi Insider.
In 2013, she joined Thomas Mlambo as a co-host of SoccerZone, a position she kept until 2016.
She has since hosted the South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs), the PSL Awards, the 2016 Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards, and the 14th Metro FM Music Awards, among others.
She is overjoyed with her achievement and proud of herself for persevering throughout the years.
She took to Instagram to celebrate the journey, writing: “Today marks 13 years in the game, still a flame!! Thank you to my younger self for taking a giant leap of faith & fighting for our dreams!!! I will continue to make you proud for the next 13 plus.”
