Israel’s far-right National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, has been slightly injured and taken to the hospital following a car accident, according to Israeli police.
Social media footage showed a flipped-over car, and two other individuals were also injured. The circumstances surrounding the incident are currently under investigation.

Israeli media reported that Ben-Gvir had been returning from the scene of a stabbing in the city of Ramle, near Tel Aviv. In that incident, a 19-year-old woman was seriously injured.
Emergency services were called to the scene to provide assistance. Central District Police Chief Avi Biton stated that the attacker, who reportedly had mental health issues, assaulted the woman before being shot and “neutralised” by a civilian.
Itamar Ben-Gvir is a controversial member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s emergency government. He recently called for a full-scale military response by Israel against Iran after Tehran’s missile and drone attack on Israel.
This attack was prompted by an Israeli strike that resulted in the deaths of senior Iranian military figures in the Iranian consulate in Syria.
Additionally, Ben-Gvir has advocated for the relocation of Palestinians from Gaza and supported calls for the re-establishment of Jewish settlements in the area.
It remains to be seen how this car accident will impact Ben-Gvir’s political activities and ongoing controversies. Further updates on his condition and the investigation into the accident are awaited.
